(ASCEND) Frame Relay connection profiles in RADIUS
I want to be able to set up connection profiles that use Frame Relay (as
opposed to frame-relay profiles) in RADIUS, and I wonder if anyone has any
experience with this.
I'll have a single frame-relay profile shared by many connection profiles
that I'd like to set up in RADIUS. Seems to me I'd need only refer to the
frame-relay profile in the connection profiles and supply the DLCI of the
connection.
If I set the following with RADIUS equivalents, it should work:
encapsulation-protocol = frame-relay
dlci = <DLCI #>
frame-relay-profile = framerelay
call-type = ft1
data-service = 64k-clear
So basically:
Framed-Protocol = FR,
Ascend-FR-DLCI = <DLCI #>,
Ascend-FR-Profile-Name = "frame-relay-profile-name",
Ascend-Data-Svc = 64k clear,
Ascend-Call-Type = Nailed
Do they have to be named permconn-something?
with: Password = "ascend" , User-Service = Dialout-Framed-User ?
Do I need to do refresh -n after creating the RADIUS profile, or will the
TNT just pick it up (hah!) when the PVC tries to come up?
Am I missing anything? Any other tips, comments?
Thanks.
