(ASCEND) MAX PROBLEMS!!!
We are running Several max's
4048's v6.1.7
6096's 7.0.4
6096's 7.0.22
We are having several customers daily calling in and complaining because they are having trouble getting connected.
They get one of the following or more:
No ANSWER
YOU have been disconnected by the remote computer
unable to establish connection
the remote computer is not answering.
These all seem to happen and 99.9% of the time the max answers and tries to authenticate.
At first we attributed this mainly to some of the newer "JUNK" modems, but lately it is happening to people that we have sold GOOD modems to. This has become a major issue in the past couple weeks.
Also, even good modems seem to be surfing great and then all of a sudden no transfer of data for a few minutes, and then it will start flying again.
What can I check? Is it radius? MAX?
I am really baffled and need some answers soon.
Customers are getting really pissed.
