RE: (ASCEND) how to configure p75 dailing into max with multiple possilbe gw ip;'s




Ok,

Go into the Configure menu (right from the top), and set the Rem
Addr=192.168.100.100

This should automagically find it's way into the default route setting as
well.  Go check it.

Now, when you connect, this address will obviously be wrong, but the pipe
will set those values termporarily to the IP address of the peer, and
everything will work.  Magic.

PS: I pulled that right out of a pipe-75 that one of my customers uses to
connect to one of our several maxen.
