(ASCEND) SDSL problem

Hello,

We are trying to have Ascend DSLMAX20 v. 7.10.6 and Cabletron 
Flowpoint 2200-18 v3.0.8 connecting with PPP.

The settings should be ok (we use no authentication, tried all speeds that 
they have in common, etc).

This is what Ascend PPPIF debug shows:

PPPIF: open: routeid 280, incoming NO
PPPIF-121: _initAuthentication
PPPIF-121: auth mode 0
PPPIF-121: no auth
PPPIF-121: Link Is up.
PPPIF-121: _pppClose called
PPPIF-121: cleanup pass

And WANDISPLAY 24:

XMIT-312:(task: 80392FD8, time: 49481.89) 21 octets @ 
A6BC0000
[0000]: FF 03 C0 21 01 01 00 11 01 04 05 F4 13 09 03

And nothing else happens... any ideas what is causing 
this, and how to fix it?
