(ASCEND) Ethernet port problem on TNT

I remember a while back that people were having problems with the TNT
Ethernet 0 cards.  I don't recall the details except that they would
stop functioning every once and a while and I don't remember the
solution, if any, so I appologize for bringing this up (again).  One of
these cards was sent with the TNT box I have and I haven't tried using
it until now, but I definitely need the additional ethernet ports for a
new service I'm offering.

Every few days the 4-port 10 baseT Ethernet shelf card and the ethernet
port on the controller shelf just stop functioning - I can't connect via
telnet and radius stops working.  It appears first as a slow down and
then fails altogether.  If I power the box up and down, everything comes
back to "normal" for a few days.  The log only shows that the system was
restarted.

I'm running 7.0.4 TAOS.
