(ASCEND) MAX routing problem with radius assigned ip address

Hi,

Up until recently, all the IP address allocation on my MAX's was done
via local IP Pools and this worked fine. My radius server was configured
to send the following reply attributes:

         Service-Type=Framed-User,
         Framed-Protocol=PPP,
         Ascend-Assign-IP-Pool=1

We now have to cater for a more complex IP allocation mechanism, so I am
letting radius generate the Framed-Address in the reply attribute. Users
are getting assigned this IP address (which is incidently in the same
range as the IP-pool configuration) but they can't route anything.

My current reply attributes are:

         User-Service-Type = Framed-User,
         Framed-Protocol = PPP,
         Framed-Address = 203.63.110.x
         Framed-Routing = None,
         Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP,
         Framed-MTU = 1500

Is there something I'm missing here? The pool-allocation obviously does
something behind the scenes that I'm not aware of.

Thanks for your help

Richard
