From my notes and experience:

To clear out previous configurations if you have the password:

	> fclear   Clears out config memory including IP addresses and passwords
	
	> nvr
	
	> clr-his (to clear fat log)

	
If you don't have the password, open the case then open the coin cell
circuit for a minute.  Then 'ESC [ ESC =' quickly during boot to get to the
> prompt. 
Then 'fclear', then   'nvr'.

> tsave <ip address> <name.cfg>  Saves the configuration to <name.cfg> on
the tftp server.  (<ip address> is the address of your tftp server)

> trestore <ip address> <name.cfg>  Restores the configuration from
<name.cfg> on the tftp server.

> fsave   Saves the new config to flash.

> nvr  	  Clears, reboots, then reloads the config


This always works for me.  Make sure that you don't leave your tftp server
enabled if it is live on the net as it is a security risk.  Good luck,
