(ASCEND) DSLAM recommendations

We are looking into providing DSL for our customers and I was just wondering if someone could answers a couple of questions:

1.  What are the most popular DSLAMs to use at the Telco location?

2. What DSL products do you need for the customer?

3.  How much does co-location at the Phone/switch cost?

4.  Do you need to become a CLEC in order to obtain dry pairs from the Telco?

5.  Is there any companies that subcontract their DSLAMs to small ISPs?
