Which tells me that ...

a) some monsters should wake up and become hostile as a result of you
making the noise of erecting an earthwall nearby,

b) earthwalls might be too cheap,

c) mice should either stop breeding or should breed followers,

d) mice should seriously die if they have no food,

e) monsters with reasonable intelligence should have no trouble solving
a maze in order to get around certain earthen wall constructs.

But yes, I've used this too.
