CF: strategy -- SPOILER
Here's an interesting strategy that might be defined as a bug:
I'm sure everyone knows how useful earth walls can be for containing monsters
for a more controlled combat (or combat avoidance).
Most players are pretty much immune to mice after just a few levels, so if you
can get a mouse loose on a map, you get the same effect as earth walls, only
better--you can see over them, and cast spells through them. Imagine a map
with powerful demons where mice separate you from them--think, "Holy Word."
Now how to get those mice? That's where the real trick is. Use the singing
and oratory skills to get one as a follower. It will go from map to map
following
you, but it will still reproduce. The offspring are not followers.
A much more tedious and dangerous way of getting mice is with polymorph
(possibly
after summoning fog if no monsters are handy).
So is this valid, or is it a bug?
