Speaking of kernels.  Is there any point in keeping the 

/usr/src/linux/arch/alpha,sparc,m68k,ppc,mips 

directories and files if I'm going to simply be using i386
architecture?  I'm curious cos I'm really trying to clean
off my hard drive 'cos I'm running out of space.  These at
first glance seen to be totally useless, but I wanted to
make sure there wasn't some dependency thing going on.
