Try changing the second-to-last-line to :rp=text:\  and print a text
file.  If that works, change it to :rp=raw:\ and try a PostScript file.

My info on JetDirect LPD printing recommends creating two printers, one
with the remote printer name set to "text" and one with it set to
"raw".  The "text" printer tells the JetDirect card that you're sending
plain ASCII text that requires fixing of stair-stepping.  "raw" is for
everything else.  You'd have, for example, main5sit and main5sir.

The question, of course, is why Red Hat is handling the default settings
ok while OpenLinux fouls it up.  Don't know enough about Caldera's
filter to answer that one, sorry.
