That should be
  ./configure --prefix=/home/stmp/vlouie

These are warnings that can be ignored.  If you don't want to see them,
edit ntserv/data.h and delete the nested comments in the form of
  /*
  /*
  ...
  */

My copy of the source is out of sync with yours.  I can't say what the
problem is without more details.

I lost access to the only AIX box I had.  Perhaps you should try compiling
with gcc if it is installed.  The bundled AIX compiler may have some
eccentricities.  The last time I ported an app to AIX, I didn't encounter
any unusual problems.
