Had this problem half a year ago, it hosed the server almost every day.
I think someone said something about solinger something should be set.
I though is was the spamming from beeing on the both metalist wich both
was from terrible lagholes at that time. The problem went away after a
month so I didn't do anything about it.

This didn't help, it complained about not beeing able to bind the socket.
it was busy or something. Like killing the program didn't kill the socket.
