I think the existing default (metaserver.netrek.org, without the US)
will work just fine as it used to, because I've changed the DNS entry
to point to the new server.

What we need on the client authors' part is the feature that the client
understands getting multiple IP Adresses for a DNS query and probes
them one after another, like this:

% nslookup ftp.distributed.net
Server:  ns02.de.uu.net
Address:  193.101.111.10
 
Name:    ftp.distributed.net
Addresses:  206.109.1.17, 209.157.12.198, 207.158.223.191

2nd time:
Addresses:  209.157.12.198, 207.158.223.191, 206.109.1.17

The addresses get rotated automatically.
