We had no private BETA for the 6.1 release. They were all open-BETA....maybe
you are referring to the V.90 trial software which was built on the 6.0
branch?

Though I agree obviously that there is a major issue here with 6.1.0, it is
not due to changes made since the BETA release. This version basically is the
same (within realistic bounds) as 6.1b2. That is *NOT* the same as the 6.0.X
releases which are point (patch) releases on the 6.0 branch.
This *was* all nicely explained in our online guide to TAOS...but it seems to
have moved...I'll try to find the URL again....
