(ASCEND) v.90 modems and MaxTNT

Has anyone heard of any problems with v.90 modems not being able to connect
to
k56flex modems in a MAX TNT running v1.3Ap24?

The modem brand is a aceex v.90 model DM56V14H
Here is an excerpt from their web page.

       V.90/K56flex, V.34 PLUS 33600 bps FULL
       DUPLEX MODEM
       WITH V.42bis ERROR CORRECTION &
       DATA COMPRESSION
       G III 14400bps SEND & RECEIVE FAX
       ADPCM
       COMPRESSION/DECOMPRESSION
       VOICE MODEL
       FULL-DUPLEX SPEAKERPHONE & ASVD
       & DSVD (option)
When they attempt to connect, they get a disocnnect code of 47 "PPP No NCPs
were opened"

We verified that the user (win 95) had TCP/IP and all of the dialup
components installed.
Any Ideas would be great.
Thanks
