Anyway, my problem was with the plain old callActiveTable, I've never
dived into modem tables so far (the rx and tx speed values in the
callActiveTable where sufficient for me). The indexing has not changed
here, and it was documented (so long as you call explanative comments
in a MIB source documentation). The stunning thing with all of that
phenomenon is that it disappeared. The table is back as if nothing was
ever wrong, and my MIB browser, table-walker and session display app
congruently say "everything great" again. Seems a reset cured this...
