(ASCEND) Pipeline-75 and v6.1

I have a very odd situation with a pipe75 calling into a max4048.
It fails to authenticate, and when I turn on ppif in the MAX
it shows that the pipeline is not sending its user name!
But the pipeline is configured properly I think.


The Max is on 6.1.0 the pipeline75 is on 6.1 . 

Any ideas?
