Re: (ASCEND) Max4000 & Cisco2511



You must use PPP encapsulation on the line for the cisco
and the MAX to talk to each other.  HDLC is a proprietary
Cisco encapsulation.

On the cisco: 
!
interface XYZ
encapsulation ppp


On the MAX... good question :)  but if there's a PPP encapsulation
option, you should be all set.
