6.1.0 code problems - Was (ASCEND) 6.0.8 - v.90?

We are having mixed results with the 6.1.0 code. Users that
have KFlex or V.90 modems are happy with the speed. But,
having to disable Compression and Stacking has caused lots
of irate customers. We have also had a LOT of users with
non-56k modems have a very hard time keeping a connection up
for more than 5 minutes. We are stuck between a rock and a
hard place right now... The 6.x code has been a nightmare we
would have been better off without.

Sorry but V.90 required a low level code re-architecture
that we cannot do
for pre 6.1 branches. We'll just have to get 6.1 stable for
you and
everyone else.
But for some customers, 6.1 is already stable. If you can
try a test,
please let us know how it goes.
