Re: (ASCEND) IP Address Pool for 1 login

We do the same thing using Netscape Registration server - we have a
single username which gets assigned an IP address from a pool
of non-routable IP adddresses. We route them internally back to
the registration server, but the users cannot go anywhere else.

The key is to use the same username/password for your registration
customers. A good RADIUS profile follows:

register Password = "XXXXXXXXXX"
        Ascend-Idle-Limit = 300,
        Ascend-Shared-Profile-Enable = 1,
        Ascend-Assign-IP-Pool = 2
        Framed-Protocol = PPP

Where "Ascend-Assign-IP-Pool = 2" pulls addresses out of the 2nd assigned
IP pool on the MAX they login through.
