Can someone explain why v.90 modem code would have ANYTHING AT ALL to do
with IP address allocation?  If the damned terminal server would just
keep track of IP addresses, then we could all test V.90 code - at
this point, I can't keep the device up long enough to do any good testing
in a production environment!

My frustration is simply from the fact that a key function like IP
address pools should be able to be troubleshot in the engineering lab.
This is especially true when the problem crops up so quickly.  

If Ascend wants my config to duplicate the problem, let me know --
I'll gladly send it to them.
