(ASCEND) MAX 40xx software stops?

Hi,

Is it safe to assume the MAX 40xx software releases will end with 7.0.4?
I looked inthe 7.2.0 directory on the ftp site and couldn't find any .m40
files.
If so, how stable is 7.0.4? I'm currently running 7.0.1.
