"bug fixes"  uh huh...  fix the bugs so they're even worse (better?!) than
before perhaps...  I ran away from 7.x screaming right back into my warm
hold of 6.1.24 but now I have to tell our WinModem customers that Ascend
refuses to release a stable software release with updated modem code.  I
think I'll just start having them call Ascend Tech Support.

Get a fricking clue Ascend, get a stable release out with updated modem
code.  Goddamn I hate Ascend.
