(ASCEND) Ascend Frame/DSL

In my area we don't use frame for anything really, but when DSL came out,
it made more sense so they would be always on. I'm just seeing some weird
things while playing with this and hope someone can tell me whats up.
Currently I have one customer on the end of a DSL line, other end is a
TNT, I can ping each of his machines, but not the router. This will change
if I wait long enough though and I will be able to ping it. Its like
things happen when they feel like it. I have been trying to make use of
frdump, but the results aren't always consistant with what I'm seeing. Can
someone shoot me some quick tips or expectations I should have for working
with frame this way? Thanks for the time.
