(ASCEND) Close code 185

I have a couple Maxen running 7.0.22 giving me a lot of c=185 closes. The
ref. manual just says "the remote end hung up, which doesn't tell me much.

The progress code is usually p=60. Is this the same as a c=45, p=60 and can
I regard it as normal? What's the difference?

Sometimes there is no user name in the log, in which case, the progress code
is usually p=31.

        ASCEND: call 7 CL 0K c=185 p=31

with a few of these:

        ASCEND: call 117 CL 0K c=185 p=40 s=40000 r=26400

I seem to see clusters of these at certain times of day and among certain
users, but I haven't nailed that down precisely yet. Around those times,
dialup customers are complaining of long delays to connect and frequent
disconnects in the first 5 minutes of their session.

My other Max with 6.1.7 doesn't report this code at all. Is the code newer
than 6.1.7, or are my newer boxes less-than-optimally configured that I'm
seeing these?

TIA
