RE: (ASCEND) Disable Security



* I am not sure on a Max, but I had to do this in an emergency
the other day for a site that had lost network access to its 
radius authentication server(s).

In the TNT, it was in the Answer-Defaults profile. I set the
profiles-required to = no

and then in the ppp-answer I set
receive-auth-mode = no-ppp-auth

Then all modem ppp callers were allowed online. Note that in the
TNT the users listing showed the ip address also as the user name
(probably since no username/password was required).

The concept is surely the same in a Max, just you have to get into
"Answer" or whatever and find those settings.
