Re: (ASCEND) System password prompt
With most Linux setups (if not all) you can configure the
pppd script to use no login/password at all, just set the
chap or pap authentication (MS uses chap). I used to use
Linux (now NetBSD) and I gave up using login/password pair
authentication long ago in favour of PAP.
