I haven't seen one of those in a while too, but I believe you can tell
by the model number.  If it has a U at the end of the model number
(something like 4BRI-U), then it has a built in NT-1.  If it has an S at
the end of it, then you need an external NT-1.


It's been a while since I have seen a Pipeline 400, but it seems I
remember
that it needed external NT-1s.
