(ASCEND) Upgrading a MX2E1 from 4.6A

Hi Folks,

Don't laugh, I've got an old MX2E1 I'd like to upgrade from 4.6A.

I can get to the box via the console but I can't see how I can hook this up 
to the Network, there are 2 E1 RJ45 Interfaces on the back with 2 BNC style 
connectors either side (which I'm sure are another way of hooking it up to E1s)

It also has a RJ11?? (Telephone Jack)

Does anyone know if you can put this on a Network or will I require an 
Ethernet card because it's so old?
