AFAIK, the Winsock 2 files are dated 6/6/97, 2:46pm
In C:\windows\system, if you find a file named wsock2.vxd - that's Winsock
2.
If the customer installed it from the MS distribution, that will also be a
directory
in C:\windows named ws2bakup containing a batch file to roll back the
Winsock2
install. If they installed by hand, it's best to install DUN1.2 to get
functionality back.
