(ASCEND) Does TNT 2.1.0 upgrade really need config restore?
In the "MAX TNT TAOS 2.1.0 Release Note 3" under" Installing the TAOS 2.1.0
software" it says:
Upgrading a system running 2.0.0 or later
admin> load tar network host-1 tntrel.tar
6 Reset.
7 Restore the configuration you saved in Step 2. For example:
admin> load config network host-1 cfgsave
After resetting, the TNT comes up fine, apparently with the config intact.
I did not restore the config again, per Step 7. Can someone at Ascend
confirm if (and why) this is really needed? If so, should you restart a
second time after restoring?
