As far as the Max is concerned they work the same way. we have both coming
into our max and we haven't had any clocking issues.

On the other hand, since the technology is new to the techs, pray that it
doesn't fail. chances are that if they don't even understand how it works
thay won't be able to trouble shoot it properly.
