(ASCEND) MAX TNT TAOS 8.0.2 SOFTWARE SNMP anomalies
Anyone notice the SNMP anomalies in 8.0.x?
under previouos versions of TAOS (7.x back to 2.x), the following two calls
will produce a pair of lists that line-by-line refer to the same sessionID,
meaning you can access the same session's details in both mibs using the
same index value.
snmpwalk maxname community enterprises.529.11.2.1.4
snmpwalk maxname community enterprises.529.12.2.1.7
are supposed to produce essentially the same data. not so on taos 8.x, in
which this appears to be broken. (I noticed this the first time my stats
ran on the test unit running 8.0.1, 8.0.2 exibits the same behaviour.)
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who's encountered, or better still,
worked around this problem.
