Did you make the loopback cable going from pin 1 to pin 4 and pin 2 to
pin 5?  If so, then you might be right that it's a bad CSU.


When I made a loopback cable and hooked it to the WAN1 port, I got a
solid
Red Alarm - as opposed to RA/YA/S1 back and forth every few seconds
which
is what it was doing when hooked to the telco. It should have been
showing that it
was in loopback mode. Ascend said this is a bad CSU, so it's off as an
RMA now.
